Dave started his second career in 2000 as an Associate Sales Agent for Alferes Realty. His first career was in the fire service for the Town of Fairhaven, where he retired in 1999 as their Fire Chief.

Dave lives in Fairhaven with his wife, Beverly. They have three adult children and five grandchildren. He enjoys spending time with his grandchildren playing organized sports.
